What The Toronto Star Wouldn't Print

adamgolding.substack.com

Wy does The Toronto Star keeps deleting my full comment on https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2022/09/24/three-progressives-are-fighting-for-this-downtown-council-seat-why-is-one-touting-her-ties-to-john-tory.html ? Can others try including similar information there? The media explains that my opponent's don't live in my Ward but doesn't name the people running who DO:

""Neither Di Pasquale, Saxe nor Buxton Potts lives in Ward 11, but all say they have roots in the community and have a home near by."

Yeah, I actually live there, I've lived here for TWENTY YEARS organizing hundreds and hundreds of free community events, concerts, parties, and conferences -- I am the truly radical option in Ward 11, my mom lived in Rochdale and I've worked with student government, The Pirate Party of Canada, the NDP and ONDP, and I co-founded TorCH and the municipal socialist alliance, which has THREE candidates who were arrested the day of Lamport 2 (see the table of contents of my homepage for more)

I am NO PARACHUTE. I was also BORN HERE at MOUNT SIANI. I only returned to grow up in Barrie with my mom because my father died of lung cancer after smoking and being exposed to asbestos in the summer as a workaholic teacher a Don Mills Collegiate who was in early doing lesson prep in the summer in 1983.

You can see me every MONDAY at Painted Lady, TUESDAYS at Kensington Brewing Company, Bampot Tea House, and Supermarket, WEDNESDAYS at The Mix where I host fb.me/beyondbside, and RANDOMLY at the PUBLIC PIANOS in KENSINGTON and CHRISTIE -- We're putting a new one into BELLWOODS for OCTOBER but you WON'T see my OPPONENTS in ANY OF THESE PLACES or ANYWHERE IN THE WARD when they're not CAMPAIGNING These people are PARACHUTES, they are NOT YOUR NEIGHBOURS and DO NOT REPRESENT YOU (OR ME)."
