I WAS STRANGLED FOR SAYING THIS

Help me investigate...

As I biked past Denison & Augusta, Megan Kinch shouted to the usual crowd of violent drunks that I was a SNITCH for calling an AMBULANCE two days prior when the man she’d assaulted 3-on-1 had had blood coming out of his temple.

Later that night she walked up to where I was sitting alone, pointed at me while making remarks to two other people, and walked away -- moments later, a man came up to me from where she’d walked back to and got within 1mm of my face as I sat on the bench: Lou Lamonth

He was confronting me for making this recording of the assault two days prior:

He said “DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA THE LOYALTY CODES IN THIS NEIGHBOURHOOD” and insisted that I had to listen or face violence, and, already beginning my implicit counterargument I mock-consented: "Okay, I consent to listen" giving him permission to speak to me...he told me that if I did not meet his demands he would FIND ME and ASSAULT ME -- not terms I would accept, but I had already agreed to listen...

"I know you have your first amendment rights to record" he said pseudo-legally, citing American law in a French accent in Canada...

"Just like recording the cops.."

"No--don't say that..." he bleated—

I repeated it.

"I know you have the right to record" he continued "But"

"But?" I asked...

"But the next time you wanna record something on your little camera, if you don't post the full context *insert various threats here*"

He kept saying this as I kept responding in terms like: "I agree, I want more context, people should post the rest of the context as well"

A series of complaints had been made online, and now from Lou, right before he strangled me, that *I* failed to include various pieces information THAT NO ONE PROVIDED TO ME

I then started to press back on the real issue, asking Lou "Like if this guy's really a rapist what's his name? What's the details? We need to know--"

--at that moment, the very idea of pursuing accountability for rapists enraged him and he lost self-control: Lou grabbed my throat and face with one hand and I heard and felt a slight 'crunch' as he crushed my windpipe and face-tendons aggressively and I started to scream, uttering a grand total of 1 melismatic syllable which was not English.

Still seated on the bench as he loomed over me, I twisted my head free and pressed my foot into his solar plexus with all my might and pushed him a few metres away -- as this was happening the woman from the video came up behind me and smacked me in the head, knocking my orange toque off -- if you can find it you, you know how it got there and you have found incriminating evidence.

I shouted ASSSAULT two or three times, DON'T TOUCH ME, and SOMEBODY CALL THE COPS before I biked to Toronto Western, abandoning my hat as the pair pursued me, the woman telling Lou to steal my phone.

There I gave a medical report and declined a CT scan, and followed up with a police report, and a peace bond application:

What I was strangled for saying is vitally important, and strikes at the bystander heart of rape culture: ALL accusations must be investigated SYSTEMATICALLY, and if NOT by a court-of-law, then by *us* — by YOU AND ME — so help me investigate this—just as cops must now arrest at least one person on a domestic, the public must not shrug with neutrality on questions such as this one:

Did Megan Kinch falsely accuse this man to justify a 3-on-1 assault, or is he a rapist who should be named-and-shamed more broadly, without being assaulted?

I ask because there were three distinct stories:

1. When I arrived on the scene of the 3-on-1 assault, D merely said he'd been 'harassing people' (no mention of sexual harassment)

2. When I told the assailants they were on film they protested he was a RAPIST, but Megan looked quite sheepish when a) she remembered who she was speaking to, and b) I raised my eyebrows quite quizzically as if to ask if she could really back that up — I’ve even heard her voice this strategy before

3. When I posted the film ZERO people replied that he was a RAPIST, but several replied that he had had a SCREWDRIVER, a seemingly new story out of no where, that suspiciously would if true potentially change the legal status of what Megan did from assault to self-defense: well how convenient, but I don't buy it. Help me investigate. To defund the police, we must BECOME the police. There are only two possibilities, logically:

1. Mr. X is a rapist—what’s his name, and what’s the evidence?

2. Megan Kinch uses false allegations to justify street violence.

Either way, it is a serious crime the public should demand more information about. If allegations are not investigated AGGRESSIVELY and SYSTEMATICALLY both forms of criminal operate with impunity, before they ultimately burn in hell together.
