Chrystia, The Power Has Gone to Your Head
Chrystia,
I am your constituent, Adam Golding--I live at 15 Lippincott St, Toronto, ON M5T 2R5, and I am horrified by your handling of the trucker protest. Allowing the freezing of finances of any idiot who donates even $10? Taking people's children? Euthanizing dogs? These threats are horrific and the power has gone to your head.
You can tell me that you won't use the full powers but then why give them to yourself? You say that you and Justin take no pleasure in your newfound powers but I simply don't believe you--the only honest analysis would be to admit you both take *nonzero* pleasure in these enormous powers and to balance that against the horror you also feel in a conscious, explicit psychoanalysis of yourself, which you avoid at our nation's peril. Until you admit taking nonzero pleasure in any of this, literally everyone will know you are lying.
Peaceful people are writing to me today saying they are going to Ottawa TO get arrested--because of these overreaches. What are the odds of a run on the banks?
Like the polarization you and Justin delibereately have created you have created this crisis in order to justify these powers, to fulfill Justin's subonscious destiny of acting like daddy, and in electoral terms because because durverger's law means that the liberals benefit from polarization, and will never pass electoral reform either -- I'm not stupid, I can see what you're doing but you may not be able to see it youself, so that you can keep doing it.
I'm triple-jabbed, yada yada, and I support POSITIVE CASH INCENTIVES TO GET VACCINATED. I know you said we won't have a 'fling' with MMT for political reasons but you appear to actually believe in it, meaning you should be able to understand that printing money for the poor protects the main victims of inflation: the poor, so while an incentive as large as x may be required to achieve a vaccination target of y, if the target is truly in the collective interest, it will be worth it to print the money just as it's worth it to print for any other basic need - PRINT MONEY FOR BASIC NEEDS, STOP USING FORCE -- I wrote similar letters making similar arguments to politicians over the mass arrests of homeless people (who had no accounts to freeze) this summer but unlike them YOU ARE SITTING BESIDE THE PRINTER--RULE BY CARROT, NOT BY STICK
