It’s been said before — I’ll revive the chorus:
BOYCOTT “ONE PLANT” IN KENSINGTON MARKET
Why? It’s well established, their links to Fantino and his violent raids of the competition — don’t believe me, believe THE VAUGHAN CITIZEN:
VAUGHAN CITIZEN: Canadians decry former Vaughan MP Fantino's link to new cannabis store: Why is former Vaughan MP, YRP chief cashing in on cannabis after jailing others for same thing?
Allowing the ref to profit off the game is a conflict-of-interest as palpable as it is profitable, and the racism of allowing white former cops to milk the diverse local poor for weed money while muscling out independent dealers of all races has no home in Kensington, for it is a form of hatred:
One Plant’s very existence is a hate crime against the underclasses Fantino pushed around for so long
Don’t believe me, read the link above for Christ’s sake, why are you reading this first? I’ll wait…
Now that we’re both informed and know elsewhere to get our weed, (Don’t you love a good boycott?) let’s also zoom out and consider the broader issue of artificial scarcity:
Without Ontario’s bloody lottery system and over-regulation, the poor might still be able to set up shop to afford rent, while now we have a deepening evictions crisis while legal budtenders are wage-slaves-by-design, not independent business owners or partners in a business, and there was no program for businesses to transition their businesses post-legalization — the entire idea was to cut off marginalized, independent voices at their source: weed revenues.
And now the black market has turned to harder drugs to maintain revenues, deepening the opioid crisis in the process, while the selective Liberals only selectively legalize ‘safe’ drugs in a SHOW of harm-reduction, in the theatrics of a nanny-state, while actually INCREASING harm in many situations: Vancouver police called for LEGAL HEROIN for this reason, to remove the profit in selling harder opioids, but Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland have made sure with their selective liberalism that ONLY HARD DRUGS ARE PROFITIABLE NOW — are these the liberal economic incentives we want to ‘shape’ human behavior via the market, or are we done with them being controlling?
When I was a kid the Barrie cops ran the biggest grow-op in town, out of the abandoned Molson’s brewery — today, they still want to corner the market like they corner the LCBO, and I’m not having it: government weed is shit, anyway! There’s no biodiversity in it due to MONOPSONY and if you taste the paper you can tell they’re not getting high on their own supply — the government never eats its own dogfood.
